I ’ve gotten into a bad habit of eating right before bed. I’m up late working on side projects and will eat at like 10 or 11 at night. over the last week, I’ve had (on different nights) an english muffin w/ peanut butter, 12 chicken nuggets (that was last night after all the chicken parm posts), a bowl of spaghetti w/ tomato sauce, and a half doze n stuffed shells. At the same time though, I have been exercising after the kids go to bed. I’ll run for 15 minutes on a tre admill and then some sort of weight lifting for 15 minutes or so 4-5 times a week. Have some relevant vehicle images to keep it relevant .

i’m eating all that even after a normal dinner. I try not to drink during the week but damn, everyone in the world is against that thought, the assholes in traffic, my crazy kids.... usually its just one beer. Since new years i’ve gone from having a beer a week night maybe 3 or 4 times a week to one night a week (week ends dont count in that)

i don’ t think i had a drinking problem, more of just drinking more than what is healthy. moderating the drinking is definitely a good thing. you should definitely try to keep that up.

i think at 8-10 pints a night i should call it a problem
if nothing else... its a fuckton of callories and i need to lose weight

i think you are right with both of those. 8-1 0 pints is quite the night . running will shed the weight fast but I find running boring as hell. I love mountain biking. it will get the weight off but not as fast as running.

im 8ft above sea level.. its flat as a board here mostly but a got a couple little forest trails with little drops n bumps n tree roots
and some madman built a bmx track on what appears to be a longtime abandonded building project... its just massive mounds of overgrown dirt n rubble
its quite fun.. hard on the wrists tho

I went up to NH and road at a place for mountain bikes that had been converted from an old ski mountain. that is hard on the wrists. IT was fun but man, a few broken bones were just a split second away the whole time.

Same. I’ve been getting a decent weight lifting routine in over the last few months. About 45 minutes working all the major muscle groups five days a week. I have a few kettlebell exercises which provide a bit of cardio.
The key is to just keep packing muscle under your fat to keep a good dad bod going. At least that’s what I keep telling myself.
